This exercise is a regular feature of the college which helps to enhance vision of the young up-coming future engineers from this college.
Seminar and Symposia/Workshops :
Technological advancement is not possible if the academitia is not exposed to the outside world. This exposure ensures competitiveness in the field of quality education. Thus seminars and symposia organized by students is a regular feature of the college. The students organize Tech Fest - AZZARO in which technical papers are presented by students from Technical institutes throughout the country.
Industry /Institution Interactions :
The location of the college in Jagadhri, known as Metal Town of Haryana and hub of Plywood industry, is also known for Saraswati Sugar Mills and Ballarpur Industries Ltd., the biggest sugar and paper mills in Asia, gives opportunity to our students to have close interaction with industries and their executives. This inculcates in them the need for technological insight. Frequent visits by our students to these industries encourage them for R&D to solve the day-to-day problems of workers, and learn to innovate new techniques.
Research Cell :
The college has set up research cell where the research work done by faculty members is recorded. The faculty is encouraged by providing funds for attending seminars and technical workshops. They submit research projects to DST, DRDO, AICTE to conduct advanced research through this cell. It is emerging as an advanced centre in technical and applied sciences. Computer Science Engineering department has already started their R&D activities and established.
The Students’ club named SPICE (Society for Promotion of Instrumentation and Control Engineers) gives opportunity to the students to perform and develop professional skills.
