Department of Electronics EngineeringThe Department of Electronics Engineering has been playing a vital role in producing technologists of highest caliber ever since it was established in the year 1998 in Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri. The department runs in good way and caters to the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of Electronics Engineering such as Integrated Electronics and Circuits, Analog-Communications, Computer Technology, Control & Automation, Digital & Power electronics. The Infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for students to learn and innovate. The department has well qualified and hardworking faculty. Many faculty members are Fellows of several national and international scientific bodies viz. ISTE, IETE. The department organizes workshops and competition for the development of staff and students regularly. The faculty of the department has been constantly carrying out research on many cutting edge technologies and regularly publishes in various national and international conferences and journals. CHAIRPERSON PROFILE Er. Nidhika Birla is currently working as Assistant Professor and Chairperson in the Department of Electronics Engineering. She had her Graduation from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, followed by Masters from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. At present, she is pursuing her Ph.D. (Part-Time) from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. She has handled various administrative positions like Head of Department, Editor-in-Chief for the college magazine “The Trésor” and President HEC Alumni Association’ during last 7.5 years of her experience in academics. She has been an active member of the core team for organizing National Level Technical Symposium, AZZARO, for successive years since 2007 and various National and International Conferences, since 2002. She has also organized various workshops and summer training programs on topics of latest concern for students and faculty at college level. Her research work includes more than 16 papers in International Journals, National and International Conferences of repute. Her research capabilities are inclined towards Intelligent Control, Soft Computing, Virtual Instrumentation and Fuzzy Logic.
