Principal

Prof. (Dr.) O. P. Taneja got his education at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra after his Matriculation and obtained his M. Sc (Physics) degree with merit in 1968. There after served in Haryana Govt. as Lecturer in Physics in degree colleges. During service completed Ph.D in Electronics from Delhi University and published 38 research papers in reputed International Journals. After serving for about 34 years retired as Principal of Govt. Post Graduate College from Haryana Government service in 2003. After retirement from Govt. service served as Professor in Electronics in Haryana Engineering College and then took over as Principal of this college on 16th July 2009.

 

Dr. Taneja has vast experience of teaching Physics for the last more than 40 years to degree classes. Hundred of his students are Doctors in reputed Hospitals and Engineers in reputed Industrial Houses and abroad. He has been guiding students for All India Entrance Exams for IIT/ JEE / AIEEE / CBSE PMT for more than 20 years. His students have even topped the All India Engineering & Medical Entrance Exams. He has 4 books to his credit for AIEEE and CBSE PMT Engineering and Medical Colleges Entrance Examinations.

 

Salient Features of this Book

 

This book has been written keeping in mind the standard of questions asked in AIEEE. Very common questions in previous editions have been deleted to curtail the volume of book to be reasonable in size which has made it lost effective also to reduce the burden of parents. The main features of the book are :-

 

A brief review of the desirable subject matter of each unit is described in short sentences, point to point to make concepts of subject clear to the student.

Modified formulas have been discussed to use tricks to solve M.C Qs in shortest possible time.

Few examples have been solved after brief review to explain to the students the methods to use tricks to solve M.C. Qs.

Questions asked in previous competitive examinations have been included and solved with tricks so that students can understand the tricks to be used in examination to save time and confirm the correct answer.

Solutions by using short tricks have been given at the end of the Chapter for students to grasp these tricks in each unit to solve M. C .Qs.

Multiple answer M.C.Qs and Assertion Reading Type questions have been added to make the book useful for other competition Entrance Examinations.

The book contains same test papers similar to those already set in AIEEE and CBSE PMT. These test papers should be treated as Mock Tests by the students for self Assessment.
